Sales calls come in different forms, so it’s important to know the type of sales call you’re making. There are cold calls, warm calls, consultative sales calls and customer service follow-up calls. Cold calling is when you make contact with a potential customer who has not been contacted before; whereas warm calling is when you have already established contact with a potential client. Consultative selling focuses on understanding the customer’s needs and helping them find solutions; whereas customer service follow-up involves checking up on customers after they have made purchases or received services. Knowing what type of call you are making helps guide your conversation with prospects and leads to better outcomes for both parties involved!
