Making a sales call to the office can be a daunting prospect. But, with some preparation and strategy, it doesn’t have to be so difficult. First of all, you’ll want to do your research on the company and know who you’re talking to before making contact. Additionally, come up with an elevator pitch that summarizes why your product or service is beneficial for them in one concise sentence. Finally, make sure you are respectful of their time and don’t waste it asking unnecessary questions or getting sidetracked by conversation topics that aren’t related to what you’re offering them.
