Sales calls can be intimidating but they don’t have to be, especially if you are well-prepared. The key is to do your research beforehand and come up with a plan of action before you dial the phone. Research the company, its products and services, and any competitors that offer similar items. From there, craft some questions that will help you gain insight into what their needs may be so that you can better tailor your pitch. Finally, practice your call by role-playing with a colleague or friend – this way when it comes time for the real call, you’ll feel confident in delivering an effective sales pitch!
