Making a sales call can be intimidating, but with the right attitude and preparation, you’ll be able to make it work. Before you reach out, do your research into who you’re calling – know their name and title, what company they work for, and how their businesses could benefit from your product or service. Have an elevator pitch ready that explains why your product is useful in just a few sentences. Finally, don’t forget to listen! Listen closely to how they respond to your pitch and adjust accordingly.
