Sales Call Gatekeeper

When making a sales call, it is important to be prepared for the gatekeeper. The gatekeeper is usually the first person you will be speaking to and they can make or break your success in getting through to the decision maker. You must remain polite, but firm when approaching them. Explain why you are calling and ask if they could help connect you with who you need to speak with, or if there’s someone else more suitable that can provide assistance.
