A flat call in poker is when you choose to match the current bets without raising or folding. This can be done for various reasons, such as wanting to see what the other players do next and also it could be a form of slow-playing your hand. It’s important to remember that when making a flat call, it could end up costing you more money if someone else decides to raise and thus forcing you into another decision.
