Cold calling is an effective way for insurance agents to reach potential clients. It’s important to make sure you’re following up with leads in a timely manner and that you have a well-crafted script ready before making the call. From there, aim to be concise, polite, and helpful; provide information but don’t pressure the customer into anything they may not want or need. Respectfully ask if you can answer any questions or schedule follow-up calls as needed.
