Cold calling is the process of contacting potential customers in an effort to make a sale. It is often thought of as a difficult task, but it doesn’t have to be! The key to successful cold calls is preparation – know your product or service inside and out so you can answer customer questions quickly and accurately. Then, craft a script that speaks directly to the needs of your target audience and practice it until you feel comfortable with it. Finally, when making contact with potential customers, always remember that politeness goes a long way!
