Cold calling is a sales technique in which businesses directly contact potential customers who have not expressed interest in the product or service being offered. It involves an initial call to a customer with whom there has been no prior relationship established. Cold calls are often used by small business owners, entrepreneurs and salespeople as they attempt to increase their customer base and generate more revenue for their organization.
