Cold calling is a sales technique where you call potential customers who are not expecting your call. This could be by phone, email, or even in person. The goal of cold calling is to get potential clients interested enough in what you’re selling that they decide to buy it from you. Cold calling can be a difficult task and requires both skill and confidence; however, when done successfully, it can be an effective way of getting more business for yourself or your company.
