Cold Calling Anxiety

Cold calling can be a very nerve-wracking experience, especially if you’re not used to it. But with the right approach, it doesn’t have to be that way. To start, try taking deep breaths and reminding yourself of your reasons for making the call in the first place – is there something important you want to accomplish? This will help focus your mind on what’s really important and give you a sense of purpose which can help reduce anxiety. Additionally, find ways to practice such as role-playing or reading out loud from scripts beforehand so that when it comes time make a real call, you’ll already feel more prepared and in control!
