It is generally accepted that cold calling after 5pm is not a good idea. It can come off as intrusive and disrespectful to the customer, or even just plain annoying. If you’re considering making a call afterwards, it’s best to try and do so during business hours when people are more likely to be available for a conversation. Otherwise, you should stick with email or other digital forms of communication instead of intruding on someone’s personal time in their home.
