In poker, cold-calling is when a player calls an opponent’s raise with no previous bets. This means they are calling without having put any money in the pot previously. Cold-calling can be seen as a risky move since it requires you to commit more chips than your opponent has already bet. However, some players use this tactic successfully and it can sometimes lead to big wins!
